lady_i) organize a burlesque show as a tribute, but she managed to raise over $6,000 for charity as a result. So hats (and tops) off to her good work! And it all turned out great, even if we didn't win any of the raffles. No, we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Rarely has staying out late drinking with friends on a Wednesday night felt so good. And all for a good cause - primarily to raise money for cancer research, but also to inspire Sue (and our gal friends) to some day twirl their own tassels. There was much talk that night about doing just that. Will it happen? I hope so. Because don't we all need more burlesque in our lives?
